La recente quotazione di Pandora - una Web Radio - è lo spunto per un bellissimo articolo, che non esiterei a definire romantico, comparso su Gigaom http://gigaom.com/2011/06/16/a-journey-undertaken-for-love-not-money/.
Qual' è la tesi dell'autore: ciò che muove i fondatori di una startup è quasi sempre l'amore per la propria idea. Che questa chiave di lettura arrivi da un paese dove tutto sembra essere sacrificato al "dio" dollaro potrebbe apparire quantomai curioso.
Leggendo con attenzione l'articolo - incentrato sulla persona di Tim Westergen, il fondatore di Pandora - si rimane invece colpiti dalla profondità delle considerazioni. Ecco alcuni passi "interessanti":
